It appears that the excitement around Montreal’s first #ecomRDV wasn’t contained to the team at altima°. Our originally scheduled venue for the 2nd event couldn’t accommodate the local e-com community’s desire to participate, resulting in a last minute change of location. Still, the whole team rolled up their sleeves to pull off another successful event at the Gault Hotel in Old Montreal on Thursday, January 19th.
Ready for D-Day, we were delighted to see participants from the first rendez-vous, customers and partners, as well as new faces from companies of all sizes; all with the same enthusiasm for e-Commerce performance!
After tipping back drinks over casual discussions concerning the latest e-com solutions, modules ,and hacks – Adrien from Botify took the floor to share his knowledge and insights on using data to improve SEO for e-Commerce. Afterwards, it was our colleague Thomas Pinte who took the microphone to provide tips and tricks for boosting sales through e-Merchandising. He presented customer cases from Salomon and Club Med. To conclude, Guillaume from Algolia presented the ultimate conversion tool: Instant Search with testimonials from clients like Arcteryx, BirchBox and LVMH.
After the presentations, attendees were invited to stay and enjoy Japanese Tapas from Marusan (the team’s favorite midday meal), ask questions to our speakers, and participate in raffle for a gift cards to Marusan, Nuspace, and Bota Bota.
